Sub-Degree Awards

(4) Permitted forms:

  1. Diploma in (specialisation) OR of (field of study)
  2. Advanced Diploma in (specialisation) OR of (field of study)
  3. Associate Degree in (specialisation) OR of (field of study)

(5) Examples of sub-degree awards:

  1. DIPLOMA OF ARTS 
  2. ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF ACCOUNTING
  3. ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN NETWORK TECHNOLOGY

Bachelor Degree Awards

(6) Permitted forms:

  1. Bachelor of (generic discipline descriptor)
  2. Bachelor of (generic discipline descriptor) (Majoring in [major sequences])
  3. Bachelor of (specialist descriptor)
  4. Bachelor of (discipline) (specialist descriptor)

(7) Examples of bachelor generic degrees -

  1. BACHELOR OF ARTS
  2. BACHELOR OF BUSINESS (in Financial Planning)*

(8) * Where applicable in the case of a statement of major studies

(9) Examples of bachelor specialist degrees

  1. BACHELOR OF PHYSIOTHERAPY
  2. BACHELOR OF VISUAL ARTS (GRAPHIC DESIGN)

Bachelors Honours Degrees

(10) Permitted forms:

  1. Bachelor of (generic discipline descriptor) (Honours)
  2. Bachelor of (generic discipline descriptor) Honours (specialist descriptor)
  3. Bachelor of (generic/specialist descriptor) with Honours
  4. Bachelor of (discipline) (specialist descriptor) (Honours)

(11) Note: Use of the word ‘with’ in conjunction with Honours may be applied to awards as determined by Colleges for approval by Academic Board.
