(1) To facilitate the development, execution and management of educational partnerships between La Trobe University and partner institutions in Australia and internationally. (2) Applies to: (3) The University is committed to developing a range of educational partnerships that are mutually beneficial to the parties involved. Educational partnerships address barriers to learning, are socially just and socially inclusive. Partnerships are student-focussed and enhance the learning experience for both current and potential La Trobe students and the students of partner institutions through structured programs developed in consultation with partners. (4) This Policy and attendant procedures establish La Trobe University processes for developing, executing, documenting and managing partnerships with third parties and ensure compliance with the University’s obligations under Australian and international laws and regulations. (5) The University may enter educational partnerships in the following categories: (6) All partnerships will be supported by a formal agreement between the University and the partner institution. The process by which agreements are established and managed is outlined in attendant procedures.
