Estates Parking Policy

Section 1 - Background and Purpose

(1) To establish University policy to allow Infrastructure and Operations, Security, Traffic and Parking to effectively and safely administer the provision parking.

Section 2 - Scope

(2) This Policy applies to:

  1. all La Trobe University Campuses
  2. all University staff responsible for managing parking.

Section 3 - Policy Statement

(3) Parking encompasses all aspects of administration and operation related to the provision of short-tem storage of vehicles on all La Trobe University campuses.

(4) These include the planning, development and maintenance of new and existing campus parking infrastructure. 

(5) These services are provided by staff of Infrastructure and Operations, Security, Traffic and Parking, including contractors to relevant external and University approved standards that support safe, healthy and sustainable campus environments suitable for tertiary learning, research and support services.
