How to make a comment?
1. Use this
to open a comment box for your chosen Section, Part, Heading or clause.
2. Type your feedback into the comments box and then click "save comment" button located in the lower-right of the comment box.
3. Do not open more than one comment box at the same time.
4. When you have finished making comments proceed to the next stage by clicking on the "Continue to Step 2" button at the very bottom of this page.
Important Information
To avoid losing or corrupting your comments:

DO NOT jump between web pages/applications while logging comments.

DO NOT log comments for more than one document at a time. Complete and submit all comments for one document before commenting on another.

DO NOT leave your submission half way through. If you need to take a break, submit your current set of comments, take a note of where you up to and return later to make a further submission.

DO NOT exit from the interface until you have completed all three stages of the submission process.

If you would like a copy of the comments you made via the Bulletin Board, please email policy@latrobe.edu.au and specify which document you provided feedback on and a copy of your submission will be emailed to you.

(1) This Policy and associated procedures affirm the commitment La Trobe University has to the health and safety of all members within the University Community in preventing both physical and psychological workplace injuries, disease and ill health through a prevention led, systematic and risk-based approach.

(2) This Policy applies to:
- all staff and members of the University Community (including Council members, volunteers, students, contractors and associates);
- all University campuses and research areas.

(3) La Trobe University confirms its commitment to promoting a healthy and safe environment through:
- compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations including model WHS regulations, licensing requirements, applicable industry standards (such as Australian Standards) and recognised codes of practice including compliance codes to ensure lawful and lead-practice operations;
- preventative approaches to hazard identification and risk management, ensuring risks are systematically identified, assessed, controlled, and regularly reviewed to minimise harm;
- a structured and systematic framework for the management of health and safety, integrating governance, accountability, planning, implementation, and continuous evaluation;
- establishment of measurable objectives, targets, and key performance indicators to monitor performance and drive ongoing improvement in health and safety outcomes;
- active engagement through meaningful consultation and clear communication with staff, students, and other stakeholders to support informed decision-making and shared responsibility;
- encouragement of innovation and continuous improvement, fostering adaptive practices and learning to enhance health and safety performance over time;
- promotion of positive role modelling, capability development, and knowledge building that not only supports the University community but also equips individuals with lifelong health and safety awareness beyond their time at the University.
